He then goes on to calculate the odds of this happening. After which he delves pretty deep into the phenomenon of the viewers expanding the window for \u0026#39;hits\u0026#39; (the time frame in which the viewers attribute their watches stopping to the psychic).\u003cbr /\u003e \u003cbr /\u003eIt\u0026#39;s a great read and really opened my eyes to how often confirmation bias happens to all of us. A quote from the beginning of the chapter says it all: \u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u0026quot;What we need is less gasping and more thinking. This chapter is about how to take the sting out of coincidence by quietly sitting down and calculating the likelihood that it would have happened anyway.
